Hotel Alto Calafate has a privileged hilltop location offering panoramic views of Lago Argentino, Cerro Calafate, and the rest of the lush Patagonian landscape. Many of the region’s major attractions, including El Calafate Regional Museum, Laguna Nimez and the Glaciarium, are close by. The hotel offers two restaurants, a heated pool, fitness center, and spa. Part of Alto Calafate's charm is its remoteness: the hotel sits about 2 miles outside the somewhat touristy downtown area of El Calafate, but transfers to the city center can be arranged through the hotel.
